Providing a unique two-to-three-year program for young people in Years 10 to 12 we aim to seamlessly blend senior education and vocational training to engage young people in purposeful learning experiences with real-world industry relevance.

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, we are seeking an innovative Digital Marketing Specialist for an exciting new role at The Industry School.
This position plays a vital role in advancing the digital presence and lead generation capabilities of The Industry School, supporting our growth objectives by planning and executing innovative, high performing, and cost-effective digital campaigns and content to grow student enrolments and elevate our brand.
• Two-year contract to September 2027
Key Outcomes
• Plan, deliver and optimise paid and organic digital marketing campaigns across social media and other online platforms to drive leads and engagement.
• Lead the development and rollout of a Student Brand Ambassador program to generate authentic, student-led digital content and storytelling across our social media and new media channels.
• Communications and messaging are reflective of the School brand and purpose.
How will your typical day look? We are seeking someone to -
• Produce and manage day-to-day content planning and publishing across key social media platforms, including but not limited to Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, Reddit, YouTube.
• Provide reporting on campaign performance across social and digital and optimise activity accordingly.
• Utilise innovative content, social and digital platforms, including new channels, to build new audiences and generate new leads.
• Manage content calendars working with internal and external stakeholders.
• Drive best practice programs by following the latest content and social trends and emerging opportunities.
• Provide expertise and guidance to support content and social initiatives involving school staff, students and leadership team.
• Manage and update content on The Industry School website, using SEO best practices to improve visibility and user experience.
• Work collaboratively with the Marketing Manager, Director of Brand, and our digital agency to deliver campaigns that support enrolment growth and awareness targets.

About You
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar digital marketing role, either agency or in-house.
• Proven experience managing social media channels, content calendars, and publishing tools.
• Ability to write, edit, and proof engaging digital content for diverse audiences (experience with high school students will be highly regarded)
• Understanding of basic SEO principles and best practices.
• Effective stakeholder management and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and solution-focused approach.
• Experience using CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress or similar), social analytics tools, and campaign dashboards.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Valid Working with Children Check (Blue Card) or ability to obtain one.
• Current driver licence.
• Permanent right to work in Australia.
