We provide a unique two-to-three-year program for young people in Years 10 to 12 designed to progressively develop employability skills and achieve individualised learning goals, whilst also meeting the requirements of the Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority (QCAA) and the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA).

We aim to seamlessly blend senior education and vocational training to engage young people in purposeful learning experiences with real world industry relevance.

Job Description

We are now seeking a Teacher (internally known as Team Leader) to join our Redlands School and be part of our next exciting chapter as we continue to evolve and elevate to meet the needs of our young people and Industry Partners.

This permanent full-time role will focus on delivering Science, and Design & Technologies to our Year 10 young people. 

Start Date - Term 1 2025.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering curriculum programs to achieve expected outcomes for young people, ensuring all assessment and compliance tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Perform in accordance with the AITSL Professional Standards for Teachers.
  • Contributing in a collaborative way to the planning, design, development, delivery, and evaluation of quality teaching and learning programs.
  • Enhancing the well-being and holistic growth of young people through the development of supportive learning environments, quality communication, and effective classroom management
  • Creating positive and proactive relationships with young people, parents, and staff that leads to a supportive and positive College community

Required qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • Current QCT Registration or current provisional registration with eligibility for full registration.
  • A current driver's licence.
  • Right to Work in Australia.
